The recording window is the most important. It has large buttons so that everything can be operated easily. When familiair with recording equipment the controls should be self-explanatory.Using the Editor window you can zoom in and out with each recording, use fast forward and backwards with sound, move the cursor accurately around the window, set markers, jump to markers, non-destructive cut & copy, etc. It is kept simple and efficient since the small PDA screen is not suitable for the more complicated editing work. If you have made an mp2 recording you will of course edit this on the PDA and the mp2 recording as well. You will not be aware of this though. Since the underlying technology does everything for you, the user.
Luci® Edit offers extra non-destructive editing features
The clip editor is used to paste all the recordings (clips) one after the other, making use of the markers that you have set in the editor. You can start and play, beginning on any line in the list and once you have finished with the ‘collection’ you can type in the accompanying text for the editor in the studio. After this, select ‘Publish’ and ‘clip list’ and that’s it, the complete clip list will be pasted together as a large ‘broadcast wave file’ and sent to the broadcaster server. Your network administrator will already have set the correct data on your PDA using the special Luci Setup programs (see manuals).
